ATHA OSBORN FINE

Atha Osborne Fine, daughter of John and Sarah Ellen Hybarger Osborne, was born on July 17, 1882, at Wallace, Indiana. She grew to womanhood in this vicinity, and was united in marriage to Austin Fine, on December 24, 1902. They resided in this (Wallace) community a number of years, moving to Waveland and later to Crawfordsville, which had been the home of the deceased for twelve years. She united, early in life, with the Wallace Christian Church, where she had always held her membership. While living in Crawfordsville, she was active in the church work there. She was a member of the Athens Chapter Order of the Eastern Star. She departed from this life on December 3, 1930, aged 48 years, 5 months and 16 days, at the home of the husband's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Fine. She leaves to mourn: her husband, Austin Fine; an invalid mother; three sisters, Mrs. Nellie Barker, Wallace, Mrs. Edith Brunner, of Waynetown, and Mrs. Ruth Alexander, of Rockville; one brother, Fred Osborne, of Danville, Ill; and a number of relatives and friends.
